About Us

Kyle Zach Carpentry & Woodworking is an artistan contractor in the Rochester, NY area. We specialize in projects that involve fine woodworking and custom carpentry. Our projects range from small interior or exterior carpentry jobs, to built-in cabinets, to stairs and handrails, to kitchen and bath remodels, and additions.

Kyle's love of architecture and woodworking is what sets us apart from other contractors. We often make our own architectural millwork. This is particularly useful in a vintage house where accurate historical reproduction is a high priority. We often make custom cabinets for the perfect touch to complete our remodeling projects.

Kyle and Vicki, his wife of twenty one years, have two children: Nolan (16) and Nadia (13). Kyle is originally from Clayton, NY in the Thousand Islands. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY with a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics in 1991. Kyle was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Kyle's time away from projects is spent cooking for family and friends, watching his children play sports, working on his own house on Creek St., and reading building related magazines and websites.
